As the report says,
These initiatives have been supported under the auspices of FAO’s Livelihood’s Support Programme (LSP), ... (which).... seeks to enhance the capacity of FAO and development partners to integrate people centred development approaches in the livelihoods context in order to enhance a holistic, systems view that has an interdisciplinary outlook and engenders participation which are key ingredients to sustainability of development interventions, especially where the vulnerable are involved. This requires a shift from focussing on ‘things’ to focussing on people (i.e., the vulnerable).
