800 Tsunami affected families are still living in refugee camps.</p> <p style="margin-left:38.25pt;"> ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; affected people &nbsp;in refugee camps are facing many problems (small temporary cottage which are &nbsp;very hot, poor environment, social and economic issues),</p> <p style="margin-left:38.25pt;"> ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Formed a management committee of 30 beneficiaries,</p> <p style="margin-left:38.7pt;"> ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Committee collected money from each beneficiary and purchased construction material in lower price in bulk and transported by themselves.</p> <p style="margin-left:38.7pt;"> ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Beneficiaries utilized their manpower as unskilled labour.,</p> <p> <strong><u>Outcomes</u></strong></p> <p> ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 30 houses constructed</p> <p> ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Allocated amount for a house was 0 .75 Mn Rs. but currently each house valued around 1.2Mn Rs. Due to their labour, material contribution and savings due to bulk purchases.</p> <p> ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Good quality houses match with beneficiary requirements.</p> <p> ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Skills they got working in their sites.</p> <p> ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Houses are in &nbsp;high quality compare with donor driven houses constructed by other agencies.</p> <p style="margin-left:.25in;">  </p> <p> This programme is Owner Driven and money released to &nbsp;beneficiary’s individual bank account.
