This resort on Isabel Island in the Solomon Islands consists of three bungalows, with spce for three persons each. It was builtin 2009 with owner equity, a loan form Westpac bank, and a small grant from the Rural Develepment Project, Component 3, supplementary equity faciity. The people who accss these grants are people who ar creating or expanding businesses in rural areas. Te intention is that by providi the equity grant RDP will be injecting capital into a rural area that will lead to job creation and more and better oportunitis in terms of services to the arget group and consumers otheir outputs.
