NIA-IDD Conducts Training for IRPEP Implementers!

Confidence, guts, potential, and skills where developed among the participants during the nine-day  “Critical Skills in Facilitating IA Training” from September 1 to 9, 2011 at Camelot Hotel, Quezon City, Manila, Philippines. The training was participated by the Irrigators Development Officers of Region 6, 8, and 10 for the Irrigated Rice Production Enhancement Project (IRPEP) under the Rapid Food Production Enhancement Programme (RaFPEP) which is jointly funded by European Union, International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), and the Government of the Philippines that aims to strengthen the Irrigators’ Association as one of their components in promoting the program.

Many activities were conducted and different topics were discussed fully in order to enhance the knowledge, attitude, and skills of the participants on their role in dealing and organizing farmers and establishing development for the progress of the Irrigators’ Association and of the project as a whole.
