Second Supervision Mission of CCRIP Held

The Second Supervision mission of the Coastal Climate Resilient Infrastructure Project (CCRIP) in Bangladesh held from 20 July to 31 July 2016. The focus of the mission was on reviewing the overall progress of the project in all components against the annual and overall target including the quality of work and following up to the agreed actions of last Supervision Mission.

The mission members accompanied by the PMU officials visited project activities in 14 Upazilas of Khulna, Bagerhat, Sathkhira, Barisal, Shariatpur and Madaripur districts from 22 July to 26 July,2016. 

The project runs from July 2013 to June 2019, has a total cost of USD 150 million, which is funded by IFAD, ADB, KfW and Government of Bangladesh to improve the livelihoods (higher incomes and food security) of the poor households (women and men) in selected 33 Upazilas of 12 south western coastal districts.
